I was reading a great report by Chatham-Kent Economic Development a division of Chatham-Kent municipality a couple of days ago. The report focuses on different aspects of Chatham-Kent such as lifestyle, industries, and so on. One thing that grabbed my attention was the number of different Christian denominations that exist in Chatham-Kent: 26 to be exact. The following table shows all existing denominations that have established at least one church in the area. I assume there are some other denominations without churches.
| Anglican | Apostolic |
| Baptist | Brethren in Christ |
| Canadian Reformed | Christian & Missionary Alliance |
| Christian Reformed | Christian Science |
| Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints | Community Church |
| Congregational Christian | Free Reformed |
| Full Gospel | Greek Orthodox |
| Jehovah's Witness | Lutheran |
| Methodist | Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada |
| Presbyterian | Reformed Church in Canada |
| Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints | Roman Catholic |
| Salvation Army | Synagogue |
| Seventh Day Adventist | United |
Other than Christians there are followers of many other religions such as Muslims (Shiite and Sunni), Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and more. This is quite fascinating to see so many different beliefs who live together in a small community so peacefully. I am personally thankful for that.
